About New Career Skills

New Career Skills are a professional training provider who were established in 1998. Their main focus for the last five years is on individuals that are looking to change career and enter the construction or property industries.

New Career Skills’ training programmes are designed with the novice in mind. So someone with little or no experience is able to get the right skills and qualifications and then get into their chosen industry.

New Career Skills In The Fast Track

In December 2008 New Career Skills (NCS) were delighted to be named one of the fastest growing companies in Britain. They were featured in 2008 Fast Track 100 League Table, published by The Sunday Times. This was not only a great recognition of all the hard work that the staff put in, but more importantly a recognition of the success the students have post training.

David Cameron Visits New Career Skills

On Friday 5th February 2010 New Career Skills thrilled to have David Cameron visit their Southampton Training Centre. Mr Cameron was shown the state of the art electrical, plumbing and green energy training bays, as well as having the opportunity to meet current NCS students.

A number of NCS graduates also attended on the day and Mr Cameron was fascinated to learn about how they are getting on with their new businesses. The NCS CEO, Steven Wines commented that after hearing of the great success NCS graduates were having Mr Cameron joked “If things didn’t work out for him in the election he’d consider training with us.”
